Dr. Carlsen has demonstrated excellence in teaching, service, scholarship and administration during the past 40 years with specialties using and information and communication technologies, curriculum development and in differentiating instruction. Dr. Carlsen has taught in Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio universities and served as a member of doctoral committees at two different universities.

Since 2000 I have made presentations in Hawaii, Switzerland, Denmark, Australia and throughout the United States. Led a group of graduate students to study technology in education in London, UK in 2005.
